We are nearing March 12, the date of our 'not-to-miss' meeting, in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian at 10:30.
For the first time in the history of TMMC, we will be giving a grant/scholarship to a UNCW music student. Thomas Austria is a senior in piano performance at UNCW pursuing a Masters degree in Music. He will be playing for us, and we would like to thank the following TMMC members for their donations: Jan Halderson, Beverly Andrews, and Emilee June Springer Melcher.
After his performance, Coastal Strings will perform selections of Schubert, Clarke, and Mendelssohn. The program will include selections by Schubert, Clarke, and Mendelssohn. Coastal Strings consists of Christine Maynard - Violin, Diane Stephens - viola, Kathy Meyer - cello, and John Tabler - piano.
We have several new members this month. Please welcome them and add them to your yearbook (full contact information was emailed to all members): Ed Wolark, Joyce Ladney, Kennith Rubinson, JoAnne Kevitz, and Susan McGranahan.
REMINDER: Wilmington Symphony Orchestra free ticket to each new member! Concerts March 14 and April 25.

May 14 SCHOLARSHIP LUNCHEON - 11:30 am in the sanctuary of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 16 N. 16th St. corner of Market St. Parking lot is on Princess St. behind the church with handicap access. Diamond Catering will be providing a salad lunch in the Parish Hall.
Cost is $35 payable in advance. Make a check out to: TMMC and send to: Joanne Hamilton, 3917 Halifax Rd. Wilm. 28403 by May 7.
